Mission Statement
Vision: We envision a community that offers an inspiring lifestyle and quality of life, and is a desirable place to live and enjoy the benefits of family, friends and community.
Mission: Our mission is to enhance and preserve the quality of life and sense of community through effective and efficient management of the Association, enforcement of rules and covenants to preserve property values, and support the initiatives and capital improvements that benefit the greater good of the community.
Values: In all our activities to achieve our vision and mission we value integrity, fairness, consistent firmness and common sense, community participation, respect, cooperation and sense of community.
2023 Board of Directors
Stephen Perry, Chairman 281.627.9498
Specific Job Tasks: Sets Agenda for every meeting.
Confers on legal issues with legal counsel.
Participates and leads community events when available.
Supervises goals and budget. Leads meetings.
Cosigns on checks over $100. Must know basics of Roberts Rules.
Jon Truax, Vice Chairman 832.820.9728
Specific Job Tasks: Serves as backup to Chairman at meetings.
Will also serve as Sergeant of Arms.
Can also serve as cosigner for checks over $100.
Will organize all chair concerns/agenda items for the Chairman.
Handles all Chairman duties in absence of Chairman.
Must know basics of Roberts Rules.
Reviews and presents organizational deficiencies to be addressed.
Secretary (Open Position)
Specific Job Tasks: Records minutes. Sets meetings with the library or community center.
Works with the Community Chair to maintain the website with correct documents, news and happenings.
Puts out signage and notifications for meetings. Works with chair and vice chair on facilitative projects.
Specific Job Tasks: Runs, develops and implements website.
Puts out notice of news and meetings on social media.
Filters all communications with the community to the SPOA.
